Filter adapter has machined in hex, allowing easy installation using a 26mm socket and ratchet (not included).

Fits 986/987 as well as 996/997 models and replaces Porsche part numbers 996 107 020 53 (54, 55). For MY97-08 vehicles with M96 or M97 engine designation. Does not fit GT2, GT3, or Turbo models or any aircooled models. Design only for MY97-08 vehicles with an M96/M97 engine.
Uses Napa Gold 1042 filter only. This is the only recommended oil filter.
