High Performance
Ceramic Composite Lifters

Please note that LN Engineering's ceramic composite sintered silicon nitride ultra-light lifters are no longer a supported product as Schubeck Racing is no longer producing them. This information is provided for reference purposes only. Thanks!

We recommend regardless of what brand cam you use or brand of lifters you use to break the edge of the lobe by putting a bevel or radius by hand. We also recommend using an engine oil supplement at break in if you do not use ceramic lifters to help reduce cam lifter wear. By no means does this provide a solution to flat cams and failed lifters as sure fire as ceramic lifters, but it does help. Cam manufacturers recommend the use of a ZDDP rich oil environment at the time of break-in, and we agree with this statement with all new engines.

Although we have formally discontinued offering our ceramic composite ultra-light lifters, we have still been fielding the bulk of emails asking questions regarding their performance, so we have reposted our original ceramic lifters page here for reference purposes only. Please note that the ceramic lifters are no longer a supported product. For best performance of conventional lifters, we recommend using Brad Penn Racing 1 lubricants.
