How Nickies are Made

Our custom US-originating Alcoa extrusions from which NickiesTM are made.

For every particular cylinder, we cut chunks of extrusion to the appropriate length. For most cylinders, this means you have a 15-18 lb section of extrusion, all machined in the United States.

This is what we have dubbed a "birthday cake." It is from the birthday cake that our 964 and 993 cylinders are produced.

Here is a cart full of fully finned "birthday cakes." These will become cylinders for a 930.
